…syrian refugees? and a child shall welcome them…

…unlike those responsible for their misfortune…

As the adults forget to cower in fear under their beds at the prospect of those Syrians invading their country, their children bring joy to the hearts of the refugees, their parents’ hearts and the hearts of other non-exceptional people worldwide. As the Independent (some freebies, then firewall) reports, Canadian children sang the same song for refugees that was sung to Mohamed when he sought refuge        Read the rest of this entry »

…heeeree comes the donald…

…amid rending of raiment, wailing and gnashing of teeth…

Nothing like saying  what so many millions of US citizens want to hear, and in plain English – no ‘dog whistle’, no language of pc. A crusade against Muslims (and their resources), and the refugees created by US policy are unwanted in the US – even if neighbour Canada, a bit player in such wars, has started on its goal of graciously accepting 25,000 Syrians. And with that Donald Trump has the US political and other predatory groups in a tizzy. How so? Let us count the ways.

…the donald, those aliens, and that pc (not the computer)…

Notwithstanding those embarrassed entities and characters, The Donald’s popularity in the US has continued to rise – he is a front runner, no fringe candidate. Read the rest of this entry »

Not one shot fired. Clearly, not the US– but London, UK, a country where police for 2015 to date shot to death a total of one, one person. And that leads us to the evidence which is so massive and still accumulating that the audacity to declare its relative absence borders on insulting to one’s intelligence.

A cartoon in The Guardian depicts in utmost clarity the mindset of a gun-obsessed society, a society that boasts most of the world’s professionals, scientists and intellects – and warmongers. Read the rest of this entry »

…in its midst, us americans fail to see…

…the serious threat to their nation lies within…

Prescience or what? Simply stunning. On Monday, 30 Nov, TeleSUR posted a report on an opinion article in Mexico’s La Jornada regarding relative safety and security in the United States. And Mexico is no ‘safe haven’. Read the rest of this entry »
