…those tides of march, and yet to crest for the us…

…with its many ‘wars’ – this one, ‘war on drugs’, which continues to devastate so many lives…

Ayotzinapa? 26 March, 2015, will have seen the sixth month since the ‘disappearance’ of 43 students (normalistas) from that town in September 2014. Only one has been identified, and through his DNA remains. The ‘Disappeared of Ayotzinapa’ is merely indicative of a phenomenon of ‘disappearances’, beheadings or corpse mutilations that is prevalent in several parts of Mexico. Some evidence has pointed to possible culpability of officials at many levels. A teleSUR news report on confidence in the Mexican President Nieto speaks volumes, 10 percent. …beware the tides of march! us msm and us foreign policy, e.g., Colombia…

…as towering waves and their fierce undertow do their work…

We should recall those ‘super’ tides from that recent solar eclipse that saw Mont St Michel become an island and had the River Thames overflowing its banks. That irresistible force of nature.

…good mourning, vietnam! no lie…

…as the past just keeps interrupting and correcting the us narrative, from asia to america…

This week we have the awkward commemoration of yet another event of so many for which the US has gained additional infamy.

This is the My Lai Massacre, which never took place, and which, when revealed to have indeed taken place, was declared to have been the ‘actions of a few bad apples’, ‘rogue soldiers’. The US military officer in the field, not those culpable in the headquarters, responsible for the atrocities would be much later convicted and sentenced to jail but serve a mere few months – proof of the US system of justice. …as the sun sets, thoughts of the home and heart…

…with a nice digestif…

Regarding Joshua Bell, there is a remarkable story. According to US news reports, he had performed at a Metro station stop, Gallery Place, for a few hours over a few days – among the relatively few who had stopped to listen, or even recognised him, most were children.
